You'd think, given I'm sitting at home not working I could update this
thing more often, but you'd be wrong. Cause
this gameboy ain't going to play itself.
The only thing of worthwhile note is three new photo journal entries,
if yer interested. One of these days I'll stop
being a recluse and actually go take some real photos again.

Blag'ard
- Losty. Rather than
rewrite a bunch of nonsense I already wrote, just see the "Music
Reviews" page - I just posted a
review of this groups latest release.
Clinic - The
New Seeker. See what I just wrote above? Same
thing applies here.
Nervous Patterns - Black
Whole. A little punk, a little new wave, and a lot
like the A-Frames. Well, not a lot like
but kinda mining the same territory maybe. Either way, their
self-titled record is great and was a real gem of a
bargain bin find. Bonus: No
Control. Not
Living In A Modern World.
Sloan - I've
Gotta Try. Both tracks off of their newest album
"Never Hear the End of It", in which they attempt to
channel the spirit of Robert Pollard by releasing an album of 30 short,
catchy pop songs. Part of me thinks they
made this record on a dare, but it's still got a lot of great
cuts. Bonus: Right
Or Wrong.
Snowglobe - Dry.
A few years back I heard one song by this Athens-via-Memphis band, and
it sounded exactly
like Neutral Milk hotel, and I searched everywhere for it. Well,
it turns out that was really the only song that sounded
like NMH but general Elephant 6 comparisons are obvious. Bonus: Rainbow.
